A shipping product on the App Store, a revenue model correlated with AI cost, and a market that just got regulatory backing.
Problem and market
According to the WHO, hundreds of millions of people worldwide live with severe vision loss, and this population grows as societies age. Existing solutions are either expensive specialist hardware or single-function apps. Multimodal AI makes it possible, for the first time, to build a universal assistant on a device the user already carries in their pocket.
Why now
The European Accessibility Act has been in force since June 2025. Accessibility of digital products and services is now a legal obligation in the EU, shifting public and corporate budgets toward assistive technology. In parallel, the cost of multimodal inference keeps falling while quality rises, our unit margin improves with every model generation without changing the user's price.
A product, not a promise

Business model
Revenue is based on token packages for real AI usage (tiers from $1.49 to $24.99, no subscription). The key property: revenue is structurally correlated with inference cost: we pay for tokens when we earn. Per-session telemetry (tokens, model, cost) gives full control of unit economics and a ready evaluation base for B2B2C pilots (foundations, institutions, insurers).
A platform, not a single app
Under the app runs a configurable assistive platform: prompt management, multilingual support, usage analytics. The roadmap covers further “senses” and B2B channels (deployments with organizations, integrations). The Ariadne Sense brand is designed from day one as an umbrella for a family of products.

The product is built by the aveneo team (Poznań, Poland): 18 years of delivering enterprise-grade systems, more than 220 projects, including production computer vision.
