What Ariadne Sense is, in three lengths
One sentence: Ariadne Sense is an AI voice assistant for iPhone that describes the surroundings to blind and low-vision users, warns about obstacles and reads text, in real time.
One paragraph: Ariadne Sense turns the iPhone into “a pair of eyes on demand”. The app combines the camera, the LiDAR sensor and multimodal AI models: it describes the scene in front of the user, comments on changes on its own in automatic mode, warns about obstacles with vibration, reads letters and medication leaflets, and helps find objects. The entire interface fits on a single screen with four buttons and is fully VoiceOver-compatible. Users pay only for actual use of the AI assistant; the app shows no ads, does not track users and runs on an anonymous account. Ariadne Sense is built by the aveneo team in Poznań, Poland.
