Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

The controller of your personal data is aveneo Dawid Morzyński, headquartered in Poznań, NIP: 7792268011 (contact: ul. Dmowskiego 124, 60-124 Poznań, tel. +48 61 669 80 33, e-mail: hello@ariadnesense.com), hereinafter "aveneo". This privacy policy describes what data the Ariadne Sense app collects, how it is used, and with whom it may be shared. Data protection at aveneo is carried out in accordance with applicable law, and data is stored on secured servers. Communication is protected using SSL encryption.

2. Data We Collect

What we collect depends on whether you use the app or write to us through the contact form on this website. These are two separate sets of data — your app account stays anonymous even if you have written to us before.

2.1. In the mobile app

• Account Identifier (User ID): a randomly generated UUID stored in iCloud Keychain. It does not contain any name, email address, or other personal information. • Device Identifier (Device ID): a UUID assigned to a specific physical device, used for authentication and session management. • Purchase History: transaction ID, product ID, amount and purchase date. This data is necessary for balance calculation. The app offers one-time token packages only — we do not sell subscriptions and we do not store any subscription status. • Product Interaction Data: session duration, number of AI tokens used (audio, text, image, cached), AI model and provider used, session cost in USD. • Data processed during a session with the AI assistant: a single camera frame, the content of what you say, and a short contextual note about the type of surroundings (whether the scene looks like an indoor or an outdoor space). This data is sent from your device directly to the AI model provider — it does not reach our servers and we do not store it. Section 4 describes this in detail.

2.2. When you write to us through the contact form

• Email address: the one you enter in the form, needed solely so we can reply to you. • The content of your message and the subject you selected. • IP address and browser information (user agent), stored with the submission to prevent abuse and spam. We do not link data from the form to your app account or purchase history.

3. How We Use Data

Data is processed: a. in accordance with data protection regulations, in particular the GDPR, b. in accordance with aveneo's implemented Data Protection Principles, c. to the extent and for the purpose necessary to establish contact, form, perform, amend or terminate an agreement between you and aveneo, d. to the extent and for the purpose necessary to fulfil legitimate interests, provided that processing does not violate the rights and freedoms of the data subject. In particular, data is used for: • App Functionality: device authentication, session management, balance calculation, refund handling, and fraud prevention. • Internal Operational Analytics: aggregated statistics available only to app administrators, used to monitor service performance and plan improvements. • Handling correspondence: we use data from the contact form solely to answer your enquiry. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR — our legitimate interest in communicating with people who contact us. We do not use this data for marketing and we do not add you to any mailing list on its basis.

4. Data Sharing

We do not share your data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes. Data may be shared with: a. Entities with which aveneo has concluded data processing agreements, i.e. entities providing IT, legal, administrative, and other support services. b. Authorities entitled under applicable law (e.g. law enforcement agencies). Data is also transferred to the following service providers necessary for app operation: • Apple: to verify In-App Purchases (App Store Server Notifications) and confirm device authenticity (App Attest). • OpenAI: so the assistant can describe your surroundings, the app sends OpenAI a single frame from your device's camera, the content of what you say (by voice or text) and a short contextual note about the type of surroundings (indoor or outdoor). This data goes directly from your device to OpenAI — it does not pass through our servers, and we store neither the images sent nor the content of the conversation. The conversation context is held on OpenAI's side for the duration of the session. After it ends, the data may still be retained by OpenAI for a limited period for abuse prevention and service security purposes, in line with that provider's privacy policy and terms. Please review OpenAI's privacy policy at openai.com/policies/privacy-policy. The depth map from the LiDAR sensor, which drives the vibration and distance warnings, is processed solely on your device. It is never sent to us or to the AI model provider. Sending data to OpenAI involves a transfer to a third country (the United States). It takes place on the basis of Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission (Article 46(2)(c) GDPR), which constitute appropriate safeguards within the meaning of Chapter V GDPR. You can obtain a copy of the safeguards applied by writing to hello@ariadnesense.com. • OVH: our email provider. Messages sent through the contact form, along with our replies, are transmitted and stored on OVH mail servers.

5. Data Retention

aveneo retains and uses data only to the extent necessary for the purpose for which it was provided and only for as long as necessary. Session data and purchase history are retained for the lifetime of your account. To request data deletion, contact us at hello@ariadnesense.com. Correspondence from the contact form is kept for 24 months after the matter is closed, and then deleted. If you would like your message removed sooner, write to hello@ariadnesense.com.

6. Data We Do Not Collect

In the mobile app we do not collect: • name, surname, email address, or phone number, • location data, • contacts or the contents of your photo library (the camera image is used only live during a session with the assistant, as described in sections 2.1 and 4, and is not stored by us), • browsing history or data from other apps, • advertising identifier (IDFA). Your app account is anonymous — it requires no contact details at all. The one exception is when you write to us through the contact form on this website: there you give us your email address, as described in section 2.2. These are two separate sets of data and we do not link them.

7. Your Rights (GDPR)

You have the right to: a. access your data and have it rectified, b. erasure or restriction of processing of your data, c. data portability, d. object to the processing of your data, e. withdraw consent at any time, f. lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO). To exercise these rights, contact us at: hello@ariadnesense.com.
